After kitbashing different assests to create the base for my wings, I found they varied in quality both in terms of resolution and detail. I dyna-meshed the assests to reduce the polycounts, and turn the tools into blank slates. After subdividing the tools, I used a range of brushes to add texture, and ensure each set of wings was tied together through the combination of the brushes i sourced.

I used the same process for the fur, and was lucky enough to find a creator who made a range of brushes, such as feather, scales and fur. This allowed for the style between different parts of my creature to remain consistent, despite having kit-bashed.

Once again, I used a combination of scale brushes to add texture to my bat wings.
